Mom's show

These are some of my favorite pictures from Mom's art show. I took a lot, and I may add more later. I have some on display in the house, and I enjoy telling people where they came from, (My mom's art exhibit...)

Pretend

Yesterday we were outside playing a pretending game with Bela. The whole time we were outside playing, her name was Jack. At first she was rescuing things, like a baby named Jessie and a kitten on the roof. Later in the game she had a sword and was slaying monsters. She even had to go get a boat once during the game to go in the water and get something. I forget what. I asked her what my name was a few times while we were playing. First it was Corola. Then it was Jessielolo.

When our neighbors came out to play, the girl who is 10 got to be Jessica, (not Jessie.) When I asked Bela what the little boys name was, she sat there for a minute with the wheels turning. I realized she was trying to remember Cory's name so I whispered it to her. The little boy was Cory for the whole game.

If any other person had joined her special little game, I'll bet I can guess what their name would have been. Aaah, what a fun adventure she had last night, with some of her favorite people!

Birthday Girl!!

Bela's birthday! What fun she had!

Kitty pictures. They are getting so big. They are turning in to very naughty kitties. They are wandering around more now, but the mom likes them to stay in their little tent. The kitties will follow you around now, and it is so cute! All of them followed Bela in to the living room last night, and the mom was beside herself. They are too big for her to carry now, and even after I would help them all back to the tent, they would all come darting back out again.

Bela had a hard time getting to sleep last night because the kitties were so loud meowing all over the house, and one of them kept trying to get on her bed. She was annoyed, but thought it was really cute at the same time. Naughty kitties!

The kitties have been around for about 5 days now. When she was done bringing in kittens, there were 6. They are so cute, and we have become attatched. We get to hold them and pet them now. We like watching them try to walk around all wobbly and slow. We like watching them fight when they eat. Some of them are just opening their eyes today. They all have deep blue eyes for now.

We think we will let them stay until they are eating real food, then we will take them to the animal shelter. Unfortunately, having 7 cats in this apartment just isn't going to work. Maybe we will look in to keeping one. Maybe.
