Bela has done some really cute things the last few weeks that I wanted to tell you all about. She wanted to put a diaper on an Elmo doll we have. The doll is a puppet though, so it doesn't have legs or a butt. It was pretty funny seeing her run up with a diaper, and try to find the doll's butt. I just helped her wrap it around the bottom of the puppet, and she was happy with that. Later that same night, she fed the puppet her bottle. She stuck the bottle it Elmo's mouth, and it leaked all over, but it was sooo cute! She did it like three times. What a funny girl. She adopted the doll as her own for a few hours. But, she promptly sent it back to the agency because she hasn't given a second thought since that night. No more bottles Elmo! Those are mine!
She got her first real hair cut the other day. They cut it all so it was even with the front. So, the front didn't change much, but the back is all gone. It's like a bob now. A curly little bob. Very cute. I'll put a picture up some time.
One last cute thing, I got last year's swim suit out to see if it still fits. It did fit, b ut barely, and she loves it. She refused to take it off though, and would run over to the mirror every now and then and look at it. Now every time she sees it she'll start pulling her clothes off and beg to have it on. Once it is on, she wont take it off without putting up a big fight. It reminds me of Emily. Emily loved her bathing suit when she was little. She would have it on all day every day for a while there, even in the winter. Oh kids are so funny!
