Oh Boy!

Oh Boy!

Well, it's official family. We are going toPortugal! We are all very excited. We leave on July 2, and after 1 car ride, 1 night at a family member's house, (still to be determined), 1 more car ride, 4 planes, 1 taxi, 1 night in a hotel in Lisbon, 1 more taxi, 1 more plane ride, and 1 ferry, we will arrive on July 5 on St. George island in the Acores to see Gabe's Dad, Avo. Oh boy.

Avo told us a few months ago when we talked about visiting that he had bought a pig for us. After some reflection, I realized it was a live pig that will be made un-live and prepared for eating at some point while we are there. Oh boy again. Gabe says he wants to vidoe tape it and show it to people. (By people, I mean family. Yes, that's you!!!!) AAAAA!!!

A few days ago, Avo also told us that he had gotten two baby goats for Bela to play with while we are there. I don't think these will be made into eating at any point. I am very excited to see Bela play with baby goats. Gabe and I suspect they were wild baby goats before being aquired as toddler toys. Oh boy again.

On July 21, after another ferry, 4 planes, one half-night in an airport, 1 more plane ride, and 2 more car rides, we will arrive home in Vernal on July 22. Oh boy again.

Thanks to Dad for allowing us to use some of his miles for the planes. We could not have done this without you. Thanks again.

Bela Omelets

Recipe for Bela Omelets!

2 eggs
milk
flour
1 box salt
pepper

In a toy stock pot, crack two eggs. Add milk, (just pour until it overflows your pot), and stir vigorously. Slowly add 1 box of salt, a pinch at a time at first, then just pour directly from the box. Stir in some other stuff, like pepper or flour. Whatever you can get your hands on. Stir vigorously, using at least two different spoons. Have Mom help you pour in to a pan. Keep adding ingredients as they become available. Bell pepper seeds, motzerella cheese, whatever. Hollar to Dad that dinner is almost ready. Keep stirring your Omelet. Keep adding ingredients. When you are bored, your omelet is finished. Do Not Eat. Instead, say "Gross, Eeeeww, I don't want it," repeatedly and run away and watch TV.
